Nice quiet location. Very nice ambience and friendly service.
The location speaks for itself and is wonderful. We were served very nicely and the cake is delicious. Definitely go for a hike ...
You can sit very comfortably and relaxed on the terrace. The food is very good here, whether it's pancakes or the fish dishes. We love to come back here again and again! It is difficult to get a table without a reservation.
Top! In my opinion, there is the best food on the island. Has is not such a tourist shack, but a really good restaurant with very good cuisine and very friendly staff (if you find the lady unfriendly, you should ask yourself whether you understand what makes people in the north tick) !! Corona measures are adhered to in an exemplary manner. In addition, everything is pico bello clean. The toilet is also perfectly clean in the evening at the end of the working day. My tip: eel soup! Really great!! I even got a table spontaneously at 7:00 p.m. without a reservation. But probably not tomorrow ...
Very, very good cake and tea and food. Friendly service. Simply a local To feel good.
Exceptionally good food and probably the best cuisine on the island. A TIMELY reservation is mandatory. It is never possible to get a table spontaneously, and a reservation for the next day or the day after that is also not possible. The dishes are special, cooked from scratch and plentiful. Whether fish, meat or one of the incomparable pancakes, the guest will be happy and full. The beer is also well tapped and the espresso is hot and tasty. We would describe what you can read about the "unfriendliness" of the service on different platforms as Nordic "dry" and sometimes even charming. We were served in an excellent, friendly and funny manner, but when asked for a table for the following day, we were fobbed off with a simple "no". If you can dismiss that with a smile, you can't eat better on Wangerooge. We will be back. (unfortunately not tomorrow)
Very nicely located and very cozy.
A great place, a little remote and very idyllic. We were served very courteously and loved it. Homemade cake with homemade groats, nothing to be desired. Definitely worth one or several visits!
Great place, only the apple strudel needs to be fine-tuned. The prices are legitimate and the staff very good.
Cozy, secluded from all tourism, but worth a walk, nice courteous service, delicious food
Delicious with a very friendly boss, the Friesian pizza was awesome. An experience despite the corona times
The best food on the whole island! A visit - with prior registration - is mandatory. We were here two days in a row and found it both culinary and atmospheric as the highlight of our stay in the island. Regina & Wolfgang Nickel from GE-Buer
If you complain about this wonderful place with the most hospitable owners of all time, you shouldn't go on vacation. We therefore recommend the Turkish fish stall in the island village for all negative people. We have been coming to the island for twenty years and due to the few guests we are looked after excellently by the owners. Apart from the culinary delights. Hopefully the two can go on for a long time! Jan Seedorf is the St. Tropez of the north. Greetings, the two of Cologne
One of the most beautiful places to stay and eat really well. From the main course to dessert. A place of wellbeing on Wangerooge.
Great ambience, cute restaurant in the middle of the dunes where there is the best sanddorngrog on the whole island.
Nothing works without reservation. Spontaneous walk and all free tables were occupied with a reservation sign. Would like to have a quick drink of coffee.
Very delicious pancakes, very tasty fish soup and a stunning outdoor area
Just a very special place and the best and loveliest restaurant on the island.
Very nice but really tiny restaurant in the middle of the dunes of Wangerooges. After a long hike I warmed myself up with an East Frisian tea and the wonderful fish soup in cool weather and I have to say: I was enthusiastic about the food! The waitress then immediately reserved a table for me again .. you have to reserve really early - or as I am lucky on a somewhat gloomy day. I'm looking forward to my second visit!
Super tasty, my insider tip! Make sure to reserve in advance, as there are always few places. Reserve quietly 4-6 weeks before your holiday. Worth it!!!
